Seven Blind Mice

I just read aloud this book Seven Blind Mice and it talks about how it is important to know all parts of something instead of pieces to be successfull. I related it to my PE classes in that it is important to know all rules and skills of each sport to be able to be successfull at it.

Seven Blind Mice appears to be a great book for team building. I'll have to look this one up. I'm sure there are others I can find that relate not only to team building, but to other aspects of physical education.

I would like to use this book in my classroom. Many of my students have a difficult time getting along with each other and appreciating others' opinions. I think that this book would help my students see that we are all different and see things differently. But when you work together (especially with people who see things differently than you), you are capable of solving problems quickly and efficiently. Thanks for sharing the book during class!

I enjoyed the read aloud. After hearing the entire book in the read aloud, the great thing is it's short and makes a good point. I think in PE shorter may be better.
