Next semester is about to begin and I am both excited and nervous. I'm looking forward to going into classrooms and working with the teachers and students, but I am worried that the teachers will feel uncomfortable. My hope is that even though I will only be in each class for 30 minutes, I will be able to assist the teacher and the students. Anyway, just some thoughts. I'll let you know how it goes.

I am looking forward to working with you in class. Maybe we can work on some read alouds and some reading jigsaw activities. Again, I am looking forward to working with you in class. Thanks.

I too am looking forward to working with new students and incorporating new ideas I have learned in our Raisse class. Smaller classes will enable us to try new ideas.

I wish I had time to go into someone's classroom.

I would love to have someone come into my classroom to assist with those students who are waiting patiently or sometime impatiently for assistance. I would suggest that you be open to assisting all students not just those students whomay be on your caseload. Just the presence of another teacher in the room should enhance student engagment in the activity or lesson. pwr
